We want to bring Summer movies back to Mart for the enjoyment of all. In order to legally show the movies, we must purchase the licenses for each movie. Licensing fees vary by title, with licenses for newer movies being more expensive. The funds raised from this online crowdfunding GoFundMe campaign will be used mainly for licensing fees and any other expenses associated with showing the movies, including equipment.
The Mart Youth Baseball and Softball Association has the most youth participation of any organization in Mart. Your donations will go toward uniforms, equipment, maintenance and more to ensure the Mart Youth Baseball and Softball Association can serve our community for years to come.
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) is a 2-day a week after school ministry that takes place until 6:00pm, every Tuesday and Thursday. It is open to all children in Mart ISD Pre-K through 6th grade, at NO cost. The program is organized by First United Methodist Church of Mart and works closely with Mart ISD. It is a fun, faith-based program filled with food, fellowship, and faith. J.A.M. provides homework assistance and tutorials; activities such as cooking, bible stories, art, games, puppets, and exercise; as well as music and worship.
Mart Youth Football is an organization that allows children in Mart and the surrounding area the opportunity to play youth football against other area towns. Your donation goes toward equipment such as helmets and pads to keep them safe while playing.
The Mart Volunteer Fire Department is located at Mart City Hall and serves Mart, Texas and the surrounding area.
The Nancy Nail Memorial Library is located at 124 S. Pearl Street in Mart. It is Mart's first and only public library.
